The Chevy Corvette is a mainstay of American performance-car culture, with a lineage that dates back to the early 1950s. This luxury sports car has evolved from a convertible-only coupe with a 150-horsepower motor to today’s mid-engine Corvette, which produces up to 495 horsepower. Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City proudly sells new and used Corvettes to drivers from Florida to Philadelphia. We look forward to helping you find your dream car.

Early Chevrolet Corvettes (1953 – 1996)

The first Chevrolet Corvette debuted at New York in 1953 as the first mass-produced car built with a fiberglass body. This enabled it to have a curvier shape and a lighter weight. Chevrolet made a bevy of changes to the Corvette over the years, including the Stingray design, the fastback rear window, the LS1 aluminum engine, and the lighter, more powerful, Corvette Z06 model.

5th Through 8th Generation Chevy Corvettes (1997- Present)

Over the last twenty-five years, Chevrolet has focused on improving the Corvette’s acceleration and handling. They revised the LS Series engines and added a new carbon edition Corvette Z06 in 2011, which gained active suspensions, carbon fiber aerodynamic pieces, and carbon-ceramic brakes. In 2020, the current eighth generation Corvette launched with its revolutionary mid-engine design. When properly equipped, the C8 Corvette can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds.
