The Chevy Corvette is still the quintessential American sports car, but now it has a mid-engine design for better weight balance between the front and rear. This translates to even nimbler handling and more excitement behind the wheel. The Corvette is also available in four high-performance configurations, and you'll soon find them all in the new inventory at Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City.
Corvette Stingray
The new Chevy Corvette Stingray is the base model, but there's nothing basic about it. The Corvette Stingray comes with a 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. An available Z51 package adds an electronic limited-slip rear differential, more aggressive brakes, and summer tires for athletic handling around turns in Baltimore.
Available in coupe and convertible, the Chevy Corvette Stingray is a classic two-seater with a driver-focused cabin and a squared-off steering wheel. Leather upholstery is standard in the Corvette Stingray, along with real metal accents. Carbon fiber trim and an imitation suede headliner are available. Even the coupe has a removable top for open-air driving on nice days in Washington.
Corvette Z06
The new Chevy Corvette Z06 has an even stronger 670-horsepower flat crank V8 engine. Paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, the Z06 has blistering acceleration for effortless passing on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia. Magnetically controlled performance adaptive suspension dampers give it deft handling around curves.
Corvette E-Ray
As you might expect, the new Chevy Corvette E-Ray has an infusion of electricity for instant bursts of speed. It comes with a 6.2-liter V8 engine paired with an electric motor that produces a combined 655 horsepower. When properly equipped, the Corvette E-Ray can rocket from 0 to 60 in just 2.5 seconds. Standard all-wheel drive gives it enhanced grip on slick streets in New York.
Corvette ZR1
Another Chevy Corvette model is on the horizon, and it's expected to be released later this year. Florida drivers can expect even more speed from the Corvette ZR1, which is anticipated to generate 1,064 horsepower. It will also have a standard adaptive suspension for sharp handling on twisty roads.
