Used Corvette Buying Guide

What to Look for When Shopping for a Used Corvette Online

Ready to drive a sleek, sporty Corvette? People from Florida to Atlantic City, NJ are yearning to get behind the wheel of this legendary American sports car, and we have a wide selection of pre-owned Corvettes at Ciocca Corvette. Some Baltimore drivers may not know what to look for when shopping for a Corvette online, so we've built this page to give them some guidance.

Finding Your Ideal Pre-Owned Corvette Model

At the top of Ciocca Corvette's online home page, and to the right of the "home" icon, click on "Pre-Owned Corvette." On the left-hand side of the page, you'll see how many used vehicles we have in stock at our Atlantic City dealership and how many are available at other Ciocca locations.

Choosing the Condition and Model Year

Below the location listings is "Condition." People in Philadelphia can choose from "All Conditions", "Pre-Owned", or "Certified", depending on what they're looking for. "All Conditions" includes both the newest Corvettes and older models. If you're only interested in a seventh-generation Corvette (C7) with a long hood, select "Pre-Owned" to narrow your search to used models. Under "Year", set the "Max" to 2019, which was the last model-year for the C7 Corvette. If you prefer the newer mid-engine design, set the "Min" to 2020, which was the initial year for C8 Corvette production.

Locate Details about the Car

If you're concerned about mileage, check to the right of the Corvette model image. Here, Washington drivers will see key details about the car, including how many miles are on the odometer, its gas mileage, and what kind of transmission it has. Further to the right is pricing information and details about what kind of deal you'd get, should you purchase the car. Below the photo of the Corvette, you'll see a CARFAX icon and perhaps a CPO icon, provided that the model shown is a certified pre-owned vehicle.

Getting the Right Price

If price is your biggest hurdle, you may want to limit your search to used Corvette models that are three years old or more. That's because cars lose up to 50% of their value within three years of rolling off the lot. This depreciation can give people in New York a huge break on the price, possibly enabling them to buy a higher Corvette trim level with Nappa leather seats and a navigation system.

Comparing Two or More Cars

If you're torn between two pre-owned Corvette models or more, it's a cinch to compare them side-by-side on our website. Florida drivers can just click the box beside "Compare" for each car. Then, click on "Compare two vehicles" or "Compare three vehicles", etc., depending on how many Corvettes you want to compare. You'll see details about each car side-by-side.

See What Kind of Deal You'll Get

Once you've decided on a used Corvette, click on "Get Ciocca Price." Then, enter your contact information and any comments you have, and someone from our sales team will get back to you with an offer. Atlantic City drivers may be surprised at what kind of deal we're able to provide. A pre-owned Corvette will likely look and run like brand-new, but the price will be significantly lower.
